Information on:

Airports

Stockholm’s main airport is Stockholm Arlanda Airport. For international travellers this is likely to be your best route to Stockholm. Other airports are either very small catering mainly to domestic flights (Bromma), or a longer journey from the city (Skavsta and Västerås).

From Arlanda airport your travel options are:

  • The (expensive) Arlanda Express shuttle train directly to the central station.
  • The (cheap) Flygbussarna airport coach service to Stockholm City.
  • Taxi (expensive) from the rank outside the terminals
  • Commuter train (cheap) from the station at the airport

The simplest options are the Arlanda Express or Flygbussarna.

Public Transport

The best way to navigate in Stockholm is the CityMapper app.

Stockholm has an integrated public transport system of subway trains, trams, and busses. You can buy tickets from the information kiosk at the airport or from any Tunnelbana (metro station).

The simplest option is to buy an “SL” card and charge it up with either a day ticket or a cash amount. With an SL card you need to tap-in but do not need to tap-out. You can also buy paper tickets for single trips from metro stations.

The venue is closest to Zinkensdamm station which is four stops south from T-Centralen (the central) station on the red line.
